Are there any eye creams that actually work? I'm fed up with spending £100's on creams and gels with no visible results - help!

I've been considering buying Elizabeth Arden's new serum and eye cream (Prevage) but they are really expensive. I'm 44 and have pretty good skin and not many wrinkles. Is it really worth using a separate eye cream as well as a general face moisturiser and, if so, which one is REALLY going to make a difference?

Can u reccommend a good eye cream to help against the first signs of ageing (I'm 31 years old) and have some fine lines and dark circles to deal with! However I seem to have really sensitve under-eye skin and creams I have so far tried tend to bring me out in excema like symptoms (ie sore, red, dry flaky skin) in the under-eye area! Many thanks.
