Question from peanutgirl
I want to treat my parents to a really good bottle of wine (money no object) to accompany an anniversary dinner I am organising. What do you suggest?

Answer from Nicola Jeal
I asked the experts, and this is what they said: Gordon Ramsay's favourites are vintage Dom Perignon. "an amazing 1966 Cheval Blanc"; and "for a dessert wine, a Chateay d-Yquem". Nigella Lawson suggested Gavi di Gavi (good with pasta); Brunello di Montalcino (with chicken); and a "dark, deep Pedro Ximinez sherry" (with the cheese course). The amazing Heston Blumenthal chose just one: a 1985 Grand Echezeaux by Henri Jaillet.
