Answer from Mimi Spencer Guru
The industry invented "minimiser" bras some years ago to help disguise a big bust (M&S are leaders in the market) - but plenty of women have told me that minimisers only give an odd-shaped bust, which is worse than struggling with an ample bosom in the first place. Rather than rely on the bust flatteners of yesteryear, my strong advice is to be fitted properly for a bra. Do NOT buy off the peg. Spend some time with a professional, and I promise the results will be impressive. Only 1 in 4 women in this country wears her correct fit - which leaves a lot of unhappy chests out there.

Rigby & Peller are masters of the art, John Lewis and Debenhams are recommended too - but your best bet is to go to a specialist: try
www.preciouscollections.co.uk (brand Ulla)
www.underthetop.com
www.amplebosom.com
www.bustique.com.
www.bravissimo.com - this is the pick of the websites, and has masses of information for women with big busts.

Once you've mastered the art of the bra, you'll want to show it off, not disguise it. If still concerned, soft layering and interesting jewellery are two good ways to divert attention from your assets!
