Why have u got to cover your arms..is it law? if your arms are not bad..go for it..cant go swimming in a cardi..swimming will tone...depends on what shape u are..apart from weight wise..some of the younger ranges are great..ie New Look..just be sensible..and I agree with Caroline re the 16 61..this applies to hair too..but I dont agree you cant have a longer length over 50..Just not Rapunzel ..longer bobs are Ok ..also depends on face shape and stuff...just keep sane and sensible..

Avoid anything frilly. Tailored, fitted clothes are best. Cowl necks are very flattering. Go for really good makes in sales,brilliant bargains around. Cover tops of arms!!

The look to avoid is the 16/61 i.e. 16 from back 61 from front.
Choose quality over quantity, put one or two of this seasons ideas with a classic capsule wardrobe. Clear out your wardrobe annually, if it doesn't make you look good or feel good - bin it. Keep a basket in the bedroom, as you put something on, if it does not meet the criteria above, put it into the basket and when it is full give it to the local charity shop
