I have lots of small 'bumps' on the tops of my arms which I have been told in the past is due to poor circulation which I do tend to have. I moisturise every day as massage the areas daily but no luck. Any suggestions?

I use a body brush before my shower, then an exfoliating shower puff and afterwards loads of Palmer's Cocoa butter oil - it really does help, smells delicious and also works on legs for the NY bare legged look

Keratosis pilaris is a very common, harmless skin condition that is characterised by small bumps (similar to permanent goose bumps) on the upper and outer arms and/or legs. It is genetic, and runs in families. It occurs when extra keratin accumulates in the hair follicles. There is no specific treatment or 'cure', but ordinary moisturisers have very limited results. Creams containing salicylic acid, lactic acid and/or urea may be more effective. The British Association of Dermatologists have a leaflet about the condition: http://www.bad.org.uk/public/leaflets/keratosis.asp.
