Exfoliate! It removes all the dead, flaky skin to give you a fresher look. There are lots of products out there; a good one is L'Oreal's ReFinish which is a two-step micro-dermabrasion and moisturising program. You only need to use it twice a week too, so you're not spending much extra time in front of the mirror!

I was once given the excellent tip of putting a drop of facial oil into the moisturiser before applying....works wonders.

One simple trick I learned recently was to wait a good ten minutes between moisturising and applying foundation. This ensures that your moisturiser really sinks into your skin so you're not simply rubbing it off when you apply your foundation.
Also, you might want to try a foundation primer between moisturising and foundation application (I like smashbox) but again, wait ten minutes between each step. (Do your hair in the meantime or something!)

Try Dermalogica Daily microfoliant. It is a powder you mix with water and use along with your cleanser or just after cleansing. It is quite simply fab for making skin glow ! After using this use a good moisturiser and your skin hsould look great.
