A really good friend is getting married in September - Id like to buy them something special - the groom is my friend although I know the bride too. I dont have loads of money to spend - about 50 to 75 pounds - they like good wine and the countryside - any ideas?

why not get them signed up to a wine club like some friends of mine did for me with the first case free and then they choose after that. i have learnt so much more than i ever thought i would and it makes for a great party night all filling in the comments boxes.

There's also the option of renting or owning a vine. It makes you a permenant or temporary owner of a vine in an English vineyard. You get a tour, tasting, certificate and photo of you next to 'your' vine, labelled with your name. Two places in Sussex are www.bookersvineyard.co.uk and rentavine.co.uk. There maybe places more local to you or the happy couple.

Have you thought about getting them some wine with a personalised label on it?
This link shows what can be done but there might be someone in your area that will do it too - worth checking out at any local fairs/farmers markets etc. The possibilities are endless as to what you could have on the label and you can usually choose what quality of wine you want to give and the number of bottles. A truly unique present. Oh yes, here's the link:
