It has to be Cropwell Bishop whose unusually sweet, extra marbled blue Stilton won the gold award at the World Cheese Awards this year. Run by brothers Ian and David Skailes from their history-steeped creamery just south of Nottingham, their’s is the last family-owned Stilton manufacturer in the UK – and you can buy it in Waitrose; £13.99/kg, www.ocado.com
