There are so many different mascaras out there that it is much better to experiment with these than go for the tint. You can have long lashes, fat lashes, blue lashes, brown lashes etc.. I have had my eyelashes tinted once for going on holiday but was not that impressed in comparison to a waterproof mascara. Avon eye make-up remover is fab for removing waterproof mascara and you can change your look for evening wear etc. very easily.
Apparently you can now buy a "fixing mascara" which makes your regular mascara waterproof. When I asked in Boots they had no idea what I was talking about - does anyone know where you can buy this?

I agree with Melody that a young teenager probably needs time to experiment and discover her own look before using a tint. Tinting and dyeing is for established beauty buffs only!
Also, introducing chemicals at a tender age is a bit suspect. A subtle apparoach is almost always best.
Have a look at make-up artist Bobbi Brown's great book on Teenage Beauty - available on Amazon.
