Yep agree..but if you take a lot..bet u dont wear the half of it and get fed up with what u brought with u and go and buy all new stuff..but some of the British gear is superior and some isnt..get some jeans..gotta be cheaper than here!!!!! my fried does....I would take mainly trousers and boots/shoes tops jumpers..that is if u are shopping and sightseeing..do for both ..get a couple of nice dresses/skirts there..lucky u.

try to fit all you need into a carry on to save time at the airport. (If you go clothes shopping, and you should, you can buy another small suitcase and check you luggage for the trip home). Take mixable separates:
a pair of smart/cas trousers
a light sweater
a white t-shirt
a dressy top
a wrap or shirt dress
a pashmina
a smart jacket
some comfortable flats to wear shopping/sightseeing
some sexy heels to dress up in the evening
You should be able to mix and match these items to dress up or down, for day or evening.

Not too much as the dollar is so in your favour you want to leave room for shopping! Go to Barneys, Bloomingdales, Century 21 and stock up!! Just have something comfy for the plane and you will be sorted from Victoria Secrets up!
