Think that low front shoes that stop short of the actual toenail look good .elongate..also do not wear sandals with crisscross straps ..very widening and not a good look...simple bands over or just mules with heels..all in my experience look great...from teen to ever.

Steer far, far clear of ankle-strappped shoes. These are a disaster for you. Also, sandals which snake up the leg (like gladiators) won't do you any favours at all. Look instead for a shoe with a deep vamp, to elongate the foot. A shoe with interest at the toe (buckle, bow, gems) will also help. There's always boots, of course, which would be a total disguise, though not fab on the beach...
